Case study
OSCPA Tax Advisory
OS CPA had been three different websites in three years, one of them on a dental-practice theme. We rebranded it as OSCPA Tax Advisory and built four things that work together: a site that leads with tax savings, a fee estimator that prices a return in public, a funnel that qualifies the practice's best clients, and a booking funnel where every service has its own calendar.

OSCPA Tax Advisory is the practice of Owais Shamsi, a Texas-licensed CPA in Plano, serving individuals and small business owners with tax planning and advisory, preparation, small business accounting and tax problem resolution.
Before
The Wayback Machine shows three different sites in three years: a 2023 "OS CPA" WordPress site about controllership and bookkeeping, a 2024 version built on a dental-practice theme, and a 2025 version on a tax theme. Nothing connected the website to a calendar, a CRM or a price.
What we did
Rebrand. OS CPA became OSCPA Tax Advisory, with a new check-mark logo in blue to black and a heavy geometric wordmark.
The website. Rebuilt around the outcome clients want, with a qualifying survey in the hero, booking per service, the client portal in the navigation, and full search markup for an accounting service.
The fee estimator. A public, itemised price for a tax return, with print, PDF and send-and-book.
The physician funnel. A dedicated page, video and multi-step qualifier for the practice's highest-value clients.
The booking funnel. Eight pages under appointments.oscpatax.com: a service menu, a calendar for each of the five services, a personal calendar for each advisor, and a short link for every one.
One CRM under all of it. Every form, booking and chat across the four properties lands in the Pinn.Media CRM.
Outcome
A prospect can now go from "how much will this cost?" to a booked call without speaking to anyone: price the return, send the estimate, pick a time. Anyone who already knows what they need books that exact service on its own calendar, so every meeting starts with the practice knowing what it is for. A high-earning physician gets a page written for them that qualifies them before the practice spends time on a call. The practice's own published figures (300+ clients, 20+ years) and its Google rating are the client's, and the conversion numbers live in its CRM; we are not quoting any here.
Web
OSCPA Tax Advisory, the website
A site that leads with the outcome people want, paying less tax, qualifies them in the hero, and lets them book a specific service.
The homepage opens on the line the whole practice is built around, "Stop overpaying the IRS", over a dark cinematic video, with a short qualifying survey ("See if you qualify for major tax savings") in the hero itself. A visitor can start the conversation without leaving the first screen.
Booking by service. The scheduling page offers five bookable sessions, a discovery call and one per service (tax preparation, small business accounting, problem resolution, planning and advisory), and each service page carries its own calendar. The client portal for existing clients sits one click away in the navigation.
About introduces the two people a client will actually work with, Owais Shamsi, CPA and founder, and Kyran Ford, tax advisor for real estate, credit and financing, each with a photograph, a full bio and a button to book them directly.
Services has an overview and a page per service (tax planning and advisory, preparation, small business accounting, problem resolution), each with its own booking calendar, so a visitor reading about IRS problems can book an IRS-problem call from the same page.
Contact leads with the outcome again, "fill the contact form below to slash your tax bills", with the form beside the office details and a map.
The blog publishes regularly on the questions that bring people to a CPA, audits, payroll, red flags, so the site keeps earning search traffic between tax seasons.

Software
OSCPA Tax Advisory, the fee estimator
A public calculator that prices a tax return from its forms: a base return, thirteen priced add-ons, a live total, a PDF and a booking unlock.
Most CPAs will not quote a price until you have been on a call. The estimator at estimate.oscpatax.com does the opposite, and that is its selling point.
It starts from the base personal return (Form 1040, $218.75) and lists every add-on in plain English with its price: W-2s, 1099s, Schedules A to E (rental properties priced per property), K-1s, a state return (with a note that Texans usually skip it), an extension and a planning session. A search box finds forms by what people call them ("rental", "self-employed"), steppers add quantities, and the summary updates as you go: base, add-ons, estimated total.
From there the visitor can print the estimate, save it as a PDF, or send it to the practice, which unlocks a calendar to book a short call about it. The call starts with a number both sides have already seen.

Growth
OSCPA Tax Advisory, the physician funnel
A landing page for the practice's most valuable clients: high-earning physicians. A video, a multi-step qualifier, reviews and a booking.
strategy.oscpatax.com speaks to one audience, physicians paying more than $50,000 a year in tax, with a headline that says exactly that and a video that explains how planning changes the bill.
The form under it qualifies before it collects: taxes paid last year, whether they already have a CPA, income types (W-2, self-employed, business, real estate, investments), income band, and whether they are ready to act. Only then does it ask for contact details, with SMS consent. Google reviews sit beneath the form for the people who scroll before deciding.
Every enquiry from the site, the estimator and the funnel lands in the Pinn.Media CRM alongside a chat assistant that runs on every property, with GA4 and the Meta pixel measuring the path.

UI/UX
OSCPA Tax Advisory, the booking funnel
Eight booking pages under one address: a menu of every service, a calendar for each of the five services and a personal calendar for each advisor, every one with its own short link.
appointments.oscpatax.com is where every other part of the system sends people who are ready to talk. It lists the five things a client can book, a free Discovery Call, Tax Preparation, Small Business Accounting, Tax Problem Resolution and Tax Planning & Advisory, each with a photograph, a plain-English description and its length (30 minutes), and a search box for the visitor who already knows what they want.
Each service has its own calendar, set up separately, so availability, length and booking questions can differ by service and the practice sees at a glance what each appointment is for before it starts. Choosing a service from the menu first asks who to meet, any available advisor (for the earliest slot) or Owais by name, then opens that service's calendar with the date, time zone and open slots on one screen.
Each advisor also has a personal calendar with their own bio: Owais Shamsi, the founder, and Kyran Ford, who advises on real estate, credit and financing. A client who already works with one of them, or a referral sent by name, books that person directly.
Every page has its own short link, so an ad, an email, a service page, an email signature or a text message can send someone straight to the right place:
- appointments.oscpatax.com/solutions, the full menu of services
- appointments.oscpatax.com/discovery, the free Discovery Call
- appointments.oscpatax.com/preparation, Tax Preparation
- appointments.oscpatax.com/sba, Small Business Accounting
- appointments.oscpatax.com/resolution, Tax Problem Resolution
- appointments.oscpatax.com/planning, Tax Planning & Advisory
- appointments.oscpatax.com/oshamsi, Owais Shamsi's calendar
- appointments.oscpatax.com/kford, Kyran Ford's calendar
A physician who finishes the strategy funnel lands on planning; someone holding an IRS letter lands on resolution; a real estate investor referred to Kyran lands on his calendar. The link decides the conversation before it starts.
Below the menu sit what a cautious first-time client wants before committing to a call: Google reviews in clients' own words, the four services again, and the founder introducing himself, a Texas-licensed CPA with twenty years' experience and a Fortune 100 background. Every booking lands in the Pinn.Media CRM with its service attached, so the follow-up email, reminders and the client record start themselves.
